I love Disney. Having said that, this was only my third Disney cruise and it had been at least five years since my last one. Disney cruises are expensive but they are absolutely worth it. The level of service is unbeatable. Disney goes way and beyond to make their customers happy. We got a cabin with a balcony since it was only $150 more than an inside cabin. So for us, it was definitely worth it. We spent every night sitting in our balcony watching the sunset/ hearing the ocean waves. The kids club (oceaneer's) is absolutely fantastic. The counselors are amazing and my kids never wanted to leave! The ship in impeccable. The shows are not to be missed broadway style shows. Pirate night is fabulous. Food varied from above average to spectacular. Granted some of the items on the buffet aren't great, but you can definitely always find delicious food. Dinner was always my favorite and I found that asking my server for recommendations was always best. Tip: You can always ask for two entrees if you can't make up your mind. You can also get two desserts. Cons: 3 nights is way too short and early February is not the best time to go to the Caribbean. We couldn't ride the Acquaduck or swim in the pool the first day as it was way too cold.
We absolutely LOVED having a verandah. We spent a couple of hours on the verandah every night enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the ocean. However, I wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred bucks for one if going to the Caribbean. We had already done a Disney cruise to the Caribbean and we definitely did not spend much time in the cabin on our previous cruise.
