Wanted to try this ship because it was pretty new.

The ship was clean (public areas as well as the stateroom - I stayed in a balcony deluxe stateroom so it had a tub too), and its layout was well thought out as well. The boardwalk was a nice thought as most of the newer ships these days are built without a promenade deck that is unobstructed by lifeboats, so it was nice to have this feature onboard - it's always nice to have a space to look out at sea and feel the sea breeze. Not to mention, this is also a nice photo spot. There's an extensive waterpark with slides, and a VR complex which is something the other ships sailing out of HK did not have, so that was definitely a plus point. The 'finger coaster simulator' was really quite interesting haha

As far as dining is concerned, one thing to note is that the queues can get a little long at the Dream dining room in the mornings, so what I would advise is to avoid coming at the peak timing as far as possible. This bottleneck was strangely a morning-only phenomenon on my cruise; for other meals I didn't face a crowd problem at all. The food at the inclusive restaurants was alright, on par with that on the other ships from other lines I've been on like Royal. There was a cafe at the lobby that was selling cakes at a really affordable price, and I actually really enjoyed those.
