Booked this cruise to visit India and expected a luxury experience have paid more than £6k for the trip, which did not include the drinks package or any extras. From the moment i entered our room I was distraught. The room was old with tatty furnishings, curtains hanging on broken runners. Stained carpets and upholstery. Broken doors on cupboards and brown stained shower room. The worse was to come, the balcony for which we paid the excess was unusable being at the back of the ship and under the funnel which was constantly covered in soot.

The food was mediocre at best, brown lettuce in the buffet bar, looked like it had been there for days. Food in restuarant wasnt much better. Most days we would have to wait more than 40 minutes to be seated which meant we missed the shows. The few we did see were ok, nothing special. The drinks were expensive so try and get a deal with a drinks package. The excursions were very expensive so go and get yourself a taxi to site see and negotiate. A couple of the places really weren't worth seeing but Mumbai was magical and easy walking distance from the dock. The staff worked hard, the only good thing about the trip! This was the first trip with celebrity and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
