I picked this cruise as I do every year to get away from the winter cold and visit sunny, warm Mexico. The ports are lovely and time in each is like returning to the familiarity of "home". People are friendly, food is good, and tours delightful. The biggest disappointment is the lack of adherence to rules and failiure to stop those who don't follow. The "formal" night is a joke. We saw people in tee shirts, ball caps, and shorts in the main dinning room and NOBODY tried to stop them from entering. We saw children in dialpers in the pools and hot tubs. NOBODY tried to stop them. People didn't wash hands or use sanitizer before entering the buffet. NOBODY tried to stop them. I realize that the crew doesn't want to upset the passengers, but I doubt I will sail again if rules are not kept to. When cruising begins after COVID is contained will the mask rule be enforced? Will the social distancing be enforced? Will hand washing be adhered to? These are questions that need to be addressed to Princess cruises before I go again, and I would suggest others think of this as well.
