Even in times of corona, where the ship is maximum 60% full, the seats in the public areas are not enough. I would not want to travel on this or similar ships when 100% of its capacity can be used. Looking at the Norwegian coastline surely is beautiful but it’s also more or less the only thing you can do on board so it’s very disappointing if you can’t enjoy it properly because of not enough seats. If you feel like you want to do it anyway make sure to book or request a cabin in the front of the ship because the engine noise is quite loud in the back. Considering the normal “port-to-port” rate, the cruise is absolutely overpriced. You should also bring your own snacks and drinks as far as possible, because even a 0,5L bottle of water is 45 Norwegian Kroner. I cannot recommend traveling on MS Polarlys when it’s more than half full.
It does have a double bed, A/C was not modernized and/or is useless. Look is modern, quality of the furniture and materials used is good. Provides amenities like shampoo/body wash, conditioner and liquid soap, a kettle and a hair dryer. No fridge.
