We chose this cruise because we wanted to go away during thanksgiving break from school. We never go aeay during holidays and we wanted to try something different. The ports we went to were new to us aswell. We had a great time. We enjoyed going on excursions. We had a balcony room because they didn't have a window room. We were so happy with the balcony view. It was different, we got to enjoy the sunsets and sunrise. The only thing I didn't like too much about this cruise was the shows. I felt tjat the shows they had we not appropriate for children. We went to a dancing one with professional dancers and some of the things they were doing were not appropriate for kids. My kids didn't like it too much. There was another show with drag queens and I thought it might be entertaining but the staff said it's not recommended for my kids. Other than that. The cruise was fun for all of us.
Cabin Review
Family Balcony
We weren't used to the layout of our cabin for the first 2 days. But we ended up loving our first cruise with Norwegian. This was the first time we had a balcony. We were concerned because we had small kids with us and we didn't want them going outside without us. We took them to a show but it was too sexy for them, they didn't enjoy it as much. We didn't go to other shows because they told us it's not meant for small kids. Overall my kids did enjoy the cruise and we look forward to cruising with Norwegian again.
Port Reviews
Great Stirrup Cay
We got off the boat and enjoyed spending time at the beach. The weather was great and the water was nice and warm. All of us loved it especially my kids.
Cozumel
We decided to go on our own in cozumel. We walked around and bought some souvenirs near the ferry. We took a taxi and went to a beach and hung out there and had lunch. The food and drinks were great.
Port Canaveral (Orlando)
We stayed at Cape Canaveral for 2 nigjts and checked out their Pier. There are several places to stay that have shuttles to take you to the port for a fee. We got to spend some time at the beach and saw some cruises going by.
Grand Cayman (Georgetown)
We went on the Discover Cayman tour. It took us to He'll. It was an interesting place. It has rock formations. It's a good spot for pictures. There are souvenirs you can buy at the small shops.
Ocho Rios
Our tour was called Best of Ocho Rios. We went to Sun's River Falls, we also went to Konoko Falls and Park. My kids enjoyed the birds and animals at this park. There was alot of walking and it was a warm day. My kids were tired by the end of this excursion
