Having done several cruises in the Caribbean, my husband desperately wanted to visit the ABC-islands with Princess Cruises. Since they could not confirm a fixed stateroom for a back-to-back cruise, we ended up choosing Oceania cruises for the first time.
We usually book our vacation one year ahead. Needless to say we were excited, after seeing all the videos and information on the internet, to be finally there.
Pro's:
Rectangular shaped room (disabled) on deck 4 near reception, medical center.
Left side in the middle of the room stood a large, comfortable bed with nightstand on each side.
Immediately to the left, next to the entry door stood a desk with ample sockets and storage space.
Upon entering the door, in front of you, an entire wall with storage space.
To the right the huge ballroom bathroom. The open shower was so large you could easily shower with two persons at the same time. Ample space around, large vanity, toilet, ... everything you needed.
Having booked our cruise a year before, we printed some interesting walking tours from the net. Easy to visit by yourselves.
Having booked the cruise a year ago, we found all interesting tourist spots on the internet and walked there ourselves. Easy to visit yourselves without excursion.
Like most islands in the area, beautifull weather, easy to walk around and breathe the atmosphere and learn about locals.
Feels like the côte d'azur, monaco. Splendid views from the fort over the harbour. Luxurious shopping streets. Great vibe.
