We picked this cruise because of the timing, the price and the destination. It was exactly what we wanted! My aunt turned 60 and I turned 30 while on this cruise. It was such a fun way to celebrate!
We had never done a Norwegian Cruise before (we have done other cruises) and so we thought we would give it a try. The shows every night were so much fun. We particularly enjoyed the cruise ship cast who put on the singing and dance shows, they were fantastic! It was nice to have entertainment to look forward to every night.
The food was pretty good. We enjoyed having many options and the Garden Café was always a great place to grab something to eat. A few standouts... the shrimp burger in the Versailles Dining room (give it a try, seriously), the chocolate mouse (also in Versailles), the crepes in the Garden Café, and the whole dinner in Cagney's Steakhouse was good! We also had the drink package and sipped pretty much every imaginable drink, all good.
It was what we expected from an inside cabin. The closet space was great, although a couple more hangers wouldn't hurt. Bathroom was decent. We are not too picky, it's a place to sleep.
Hired a local guide who was excellent! His passion for his country was great.
We took the bus tour from the ship that dropped us in Antigua and let us explore on our own. This is a beautiful city and should not be missed!
We booked an independent tour from the area before departure. We got to see and do so much!
We took a boat out to Roqueta Island. Great views and so very relaxing!
We have been here before so we just hung around the Marina.
