Excellent service and food, and world class shows. Entertained by Pam Ayres and educated by Lord Dannatt, or should that be the other way round? Special thanks to crew and staff, Roger, Chandra, Jane, Alex, Sid and many others. A great ocean liner - one of us gets sea sick on smaller ships but no problems on QM2. Enjoyed different venues each morning for coffee. Never actually went to the famous afternoon tea! Great laundry service which was included with our fare as we booked on the first day the cruise became available.
Highlights; Suez Canal, Jordan, Naval display by HMS Montrose and helicopter, Oman, Children's charity art event, Captain Hashmi's Q&A - priceless, Koalas at Lone Pine, World Voyage Dinner at Melbourne.
Had to miss a few ports because of the pandemic. Not all passengers were happy but that's life! Amazing organisation by Cunard when it came to the repatriation.
Cabin; The size of our basic Queens Grill suite at 500 sq ft is marketed by another cruise line (RSSC) as a Penthouse! Certainly need this space for a world voyage. We took a risk on having a stateroom with an interconnecting door but we were not aware of it on our cruise.
