This was one of the last cruises before the COVID-19 outbreak took down the cruise lines. I was not on spring break--I'm an actual, real adult that doesn't need to get drunk and vomit all over a cruise ship. The college idiots overran all public areas day and night and were very noisy in the stateroom areas all night long. Despite complaints, the ship staff made no attempts to control them. One night at 3 a.m. I called the guest relations desk and no one answered the phone.
Knowing RC's lower quality of food, I only ate in the specialty dining restaurants, which was very good.
The recent renovations to the inside of the ship look very nice and the public areas are still in good condition. Besides my above comments, the dining and stateroom staff did a good job.
A typical tiny interior cabin. They spent all their renovation money on the public areas and not the cabins. The cabin was tired and drab looking. The A/C did not work, so I had to ask for a fan. I noticed other guests had fans in their rooms too. I've been on many older ships like this one and the commonality with all old ships is that the A/C becomes inefficient. Navigator is 18 years old and she shows it.
