We were met a the airport and took a motor coach ride to a dock where panga's (inflatable boats) took us to the ship. The embarkation was quick and easy. Our room was very spacious with a large window, closet, and surprisingly large bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with shampoo, conditioner, bath gel provided and were good quality. The bed was very comfortable and the window above the bed had a power blackout shade. There are no locks on the cabin doors but there is a safe that we would keep passports, electronics, jewelry... we kept our cell phones with us in waterproof bags.
The bridge has an "open door" policy and we got a great private tour. They answered all questions and were friendly like all of the other crew members.
The dining room was clean with plenty of room. Breakfast-buffet with pretty much everything you could want. Lunch-buffet with usually a pasta, main courses, veggies, fruit and desserts. Dinner-sit down with usually 2-3 choices for appetizer, main course, and dessert. Dining room was casual with hiking shorts/pants, polo's/tee shirts for breakfast and lunch. Dinner was casual with khakis/polo's for men and women wore sundresses, capris... Coffee/cappuccino/hot water/hot chocolate machine and snacks were always available complimentary in the library.
Spacious, comfortable king bed, good size closet, large bathroom, very quiet even though it was next to the stairs, and very convenient to all activities.
