We booked this 14 day cruise to Canada, America and Iceland in 2018 and the price was fantastic.
The ship is beautiful - no expense spared with regard to decor and furnishings etc. BUT it's too big and cold (no atmosphere). There is a huge problem with embarking and disembarking - long queues. In Halifax (Canada) only one gangway served approximately 4,000 passengers and we had to wait in the freezing cold to embark. Crew members carried some of those in wheelchairs up the countless stairs (maybe 40) - although trained to do this it was still a safety hazard. We did complain and, as consolation, a tray of 9 chocolates arrived in our cabin.
Dining staff were pleasant but the food was mediocare compared to that of other cruiseships.
We had an inside Cabin which was fair sized with adequte shower room. Wardrobe did not have enough space for hanging long items e.g. evening dresses. There was no chair in the cabin. Otherwise all else was satisfactory.
It was raining but we took the shuttle bus into Belfast city and did some shopping.
Did not like this one bit - it was dirty and dreary. Poor information about where our taxi would be. Visited Maceys and then back to the ship.
