We chose it because of the itinerary, Around South America.

However, on many occasions the pools were closed "under maintenance" especially on some sea days when it would have been ideal to enjoy the pool: no explanation was offered as to the issue.

On this cruise of 58 days we were offered two lobster nights and only twice an offering of escargots: we expected a few more evenings with lobsters. We also went for a Chef's Table night and while we clearly requested that sea food should be kept to a minimum because some of our fellow passenger did not like sea food, we were given plenty which I consider unacceptable; I feel we wasted our money as some of our fellow travellers did not enjoy it. We also went to another restaurant (Bayou) with some of the food served lukewarm at best especially the alligator ribs.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

The cabin was as expected, clean and well equipped.
