Embarkation in NOLA was fast. I estimate that we were onboard within 15 minutes from the time we got in line. They said our room would be ready around 1:30 pm and it was.
The Free Dining rooms food was not as good as it was 3 years ago on NCL Jewel or last year on the Dawn. Twice we looked at the MDR menu and decided to just eat at the buffet.
Great shows in the Getaway Theater, especially Million Dollar Quartet. I did not see the comedians since it was always in one of there smaller venues and we would arrive too late for a seat and did not want to stand for 45 minutes. Some game shows were in the Atrium which you could be heard while talking to a Guest Service person and on the next deck above.
Our balcony room was great. The shower had a door vs a curtain and seemed roomier. Most days I had to wipe down the chairs and table on the balcony from the grainy salt. NCL hoses down the balcony every day while in port, they even have notices to not leave anything out there because of it. Disembarkation was fast.
Peddle boat and relaxed on a lounger with a drink under some palm trees with a nice view of the ocean.
