This was my second time on the Elation, first was pre-2017 upgrades.

Pros: Great crew, lots of potential for entertainment. Our stateroom (on G deck) was great.

Embarkation at Port Canaveral is the smoothest I've been through.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

One of the new staterooms added in 2017, it was great. A lot of people worry about the sway of the ship when up that high, but I really didn't notice it being worse than deck 8 or 9.

It had a king bed (two twins pushed together), and a couch. Balcony offered great views and fresh ocean air. Could barely hear the neighbors.

The lamps on each side of the bed had USB ports for charging.

My only gripe would be the light switch near the door turned on all of the overhead lights. There was no choice to just turn on the hall light (so you could see into the closets).

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

We walked around through the shops and it was the same tourist traps you get anywhere.
