We live in St. Petersburg so going on a cruise out of Tampa is easy for us. It's been a few years since we left from Tampa so thought it would be fun seeing the new lights on the Skyway Bridge while going under it. The lights did not turn on till we were near the bridge but the sunset was beautiful to see. We were on the Harmony of the Seas in December so I must admit going from a huge ship with fantastic entertainment to one of the smallest ships in the fleet is quite different. The Rhapsody is a well seasoned ship that needs some attention. Our cabin was 2582 and after the ship started sailing at full speed we noticed a loud noise by the window that sounded like someone was banging a metal ladder against the outside of the ship-metal to metal sound. We called and someone came to check it out. They agreed the noise was very loud and they moved us into an inside cabin for the night and, hopefully, they could have it fixed the next day. The noise was still there the next day but actually stopped later in the day. They said it came from the engine room 2 floors down and there wasn't anything they could do. We actually slept in room 2582 that night and there was no noise. Then the next day the noise started back up and seemed even louder. Again, someone came to check it out and they offered us another room so we packed up all our things and moved to another room. Other people were also complaining about the noise but they didn't have any other rooms available for them to move into.

We signed up for the Cruise Critic's Meet and Greet party but did not receive our invitation until after the party had already happened. We also got a congratulations notice with a pin that said we were now Platinum level but actually, we are Emerald. A few other things we noticed were: ice cream machine wasn't working correctly and the ice was always soupy. You could not make an ice cream cone as the ice cream just ran out the cone. You needed to put it in a cup but it was more like ice cream soup, the casino was too smokey for non smokers. You could even smell smoke down the hallway and on other floors near it. We hope someday they will have non smoking rooms rather than a few slots marked non smoking (but they have them in the same room right next to smoking areas ???)

When we docked in Cozumel, they docked in the water and boat tendered us into the downtown pier. There were 7 boats in Cozumel (usually only 6 boats are docked there).
