This is the 3rd cruise to the Caribbean with Holland America for my wife and I, the 2nd cruise on the NA We chose the NA over the NS as it has less passengers
We stayed in a verandah cabin (4138) and since we do a lot of walking it was very convenient to the promenade deck being one floor up from the deck 3 promenade. The cabin was also on the port side more mid stern We heard very little noise from the nearby elevators and only once did we hear people walking the halls late at night
Our cabin stewards were Yusaf and Mus and we thought they were the best we've had on our 4 times on HAL They seemed to know our schedule so they were out of sight and out of mind We appreciated that so our extra gratuity at the end of the cruise was higher than normal which they both seemed to appreciate.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Liked the size and the balcony. Didn't like connecting rooms as the doors aren't insulated enough for our taste Also didn't care for the bath tub, would prefer a single shower
