We are Elite members of Celebrity and we couldn't pass this cruise up because the price was so good with all 4 perks and some refundable OBC. Embarkation was very quick because we arrived at the port about 90 minutes before sailing. Our C2 balcony cabin was as expected. It was clean with lots of storage. We overlooked some of the frayed and just a little worn furniture because we knew that this ship was going to be refurbished this year. Our room steward, Christian, was outstanding. He was always there when we needed him and he took care of a few small problems that we had. He is a gem!

So now the muster drill. Why can't Celebrity get it right? We're standing for a very long time. It's crowded. It's hot. There seemed to be no air conditioning at that time. Of course, we had to wait for some late arrivals. No one was really paying attention. That could be dangerous. The only good thing was that they scanned your sea pass card to make sure you attended rather than asking your cabin number. And then the throngs of people trying to get back to their cabins or the bars. Aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhh!

We had early dining and were given a table for two in a great location. We ate there for 3 of the 5 nights and the food was pretty good. The service from our waiter, Ronny, was excellent. The other two nights we ate at Tuscan Grille, where the food was just OK and way too much of it, and Sushi on Five. The food was good but for the first 10 minutes, we couldn't even talk because there were two musicians playing two stringed instruments and it was very very loud.
