This was my 9th NCL cruise and by far the most disappointing. The southern Caribbean itinerary was great, but the short port time was sad and difficult to find excursions. In Curaçao, we had 6am to 12 pm port. This was silly and definitely not enough time to enjoy the port.

The Epic has major issues with the water system. We had a plumber on our room 3x, due to toilet issues. Some passengers had to wake up and walk to the spa bathroom many nights. Others had leaking showers that had loud suction noises all night. We heard about one rooms shower spurting black matter out and bubbling up from the drain.

The staff level did seem short. Lines for drinks at bats was not uncommon. Waiter service at the pool was sporadic and dirty plates and dishes were left on tables by the pool.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

The Epic cabins are strange without a dedicated bathroom.
