It was a nice cruise from a scenery and ports perspective. Entertainment quality was good and was to be expected. Food quality was good and stateroom stewards were excellent. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly.

The issue my husband and I had was the crew/staff/officers did not seem very happy and were not intermingling with the passengers as they have on our other Holland Cruises. It was almost as if they looked straight through you and just did their job. We understand that is what they are their to do, but we have been on many cruises where It was very obvious that the crew and officers loved their jobs and loved getting to know their passengers to and share about home once in a while and this was something they enjoyed. If you asked for something, they brought it to you but even the simple things of being visible and the hello’s, how are you, were missing.

Being in our 70’s and having been on almost every cruise line, this is something we really look forward to and was really missing on this ship.
