Staff Great but Ship Needs to Retire

Don't book room 9042, Cabin review follows. Dated, uncomfortable, obstructed view and Aqua Class Bathroom is a joke.

Upon arrival, was astonished at the ease of embarking considering the Corona Virus issue. Didn't seem like much screening and no questions asked. Food just Okay, entertainment bearable. Seems like they hide the talented individual performers in hallways. Val (I think is her name) was super talented but hard to find during non dinner hours. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that passengers could lean over the glass protectors in the food court area exposing Lord knows what to the food.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Steer away from 9042

Normally I book a Royal Suite, so not sure if this review is fair, but for the money it was a major dissapointment. I love the stars at night (frustrated Astronomer wanna be) but this room and many Aqua class cabins (on deck 9) have the big overhang from floor above obstructing the view-no sun. If that wasn't enough, there is a support structure further blocking the view. Room is same size as regular cabins. No real perks with the room. Small silly bath, tough to use wand shower wand (water all over the place) No shower cap, crappy shampoo and conditioner, only two towels and 2 wrinkled robes. Slippers the usual. There were stains on the carpet, I had to clean the inside of the drawers -price tags removed from previous passenger and generally not spotless. Rust by the slider. Sinkl stopper was stuck in the closed position, and we only found that out after brushing our teeth-gross......The "sofa" is hysterical. Lots of noise from deck above from chairs moving and people walking. Back to the support column-we woke up to workers outside when we opened the drapes one morning. I wouldn't spend the money to get this cabin class. You get to eat at Blu but can't get into Michaels Club, the Private retreat or quiet Luminare (sp) restaurant.... Last time on the Summit for us. Four was enough. Have to add that the staff was great. Ship and cabin not good. For some reason phots did not post. Will try to post additional photos on another post
