We just returned from a 5 night Western Caribbean cruise on the Pearl. Everything from embarking to disembarking went smoothly. The Pearl is a beautiful ship. We thought the food was delicious in the Summer Palace dining room. We also had 2 specialty dinners. Cagney’s gets an A+ and Moderno a B. All crew members, except for one pool deck waiter, were extremely pleasant and attentive.

We decided this was going to be an R & R cruise so we didn’t book any shire excursions. Harvest Caye was beautiful. We enjoyed lounging on the beach and swimming in the pool. Lunch was ok. The lagoon where the water sports was offered was lovely. We had planned on walking around the port of Costa Maya but ended up staying on the ship. Met some interesting people and lost track of time. We would cruise on the Pearl again if there was an itinerary we like.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

This was the first time we booked an inside stateroom. We were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was bigger then I expected and very quiet. If We were to sail on the Pearl again I wouldn’t hesitate booking this cabin again. Very close to elevators too.
