Great itinerary but not great pre cruise drink packages no bottled water packages so brought a case on ourselves . Ship was rusty on our mini suite deck and other spare as. Staff were mostly friendly but some could use nicer hellos. Shop had almost nothing with lord of the rings items which was disappointing and quality was limited. Disappointed captain didn’t do the champagne waterfall like other ships have done. Vow renewal was very very nice . Disappointed with quality and type of food, we don’t eat red meat pork or lamb and limited fish and seafood or chicken to same favorite menu item .. buffet many nights offered better selection and quality. Disappointed no local kiwi fruit or fresh fruit from nz no honey etc.. but did love love love the scones with cream and jam every afternoon!, photographers were very good but sadly photo packages were very expensive and many people didn’t buy as many as they wanted . Loved the ports though Napier could be longer . Auckland was somewhat boring . Wildlife tours and seeing lord of the rings places and hobbiton made the trip great. Many great on board photo opportunities which we liked . No happy hour which was disappointing but made it much cheaper for us as we didn’t drink much due to that. Would do this cruise again.. not sure with who as itinerary is paramount but had a great time .

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Rust on the balcony all over so watched where we put our feet. Lots of rust in and outside the ship which was unusual to see with Princess. Cabin was spacious and our room steward Jeff was amazing and made our stay memorable .

Napier gannet tour was one of the best Thru princess and rover rings in Wellington was fantastic!, definite a full day must do! Also Zealander tours in tauranga did hobbiton and rotorua .. great full day with Rolf. Disappointed with the America’s cup tour in Auckland . But the rest was wonderful.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Have family in Sydney but it is a magical city to get around and take a ferry to manly or a train. To anywhere . Easy from the airport to port .
