Love the towel animals. Carnival never disappoints!
Just shopped at port in La Romana

Premier cruise w/ fun perks & great casino . They had lots of the newer games. Our casino hosts kept us entertained with daily games & prizes as well as special gifts in our room, from from cookies, wine, Fanny pack etc, Also selected based on the specific port stops. It was my 1st time on the Magic. It is older looking & could use a refurb. The service was great from our aft end bartenders (Richard was awesome kept drinks flowing!) as well as our dining room servers Joseph, Jitendra & Bipen who were exceptional. Every meal we had in the dining room was excellent from prime rib to beef Wellington. Their “rare finds” were good too. Seemed to be a lot of kids on this trip & they overtook the hot tubs as usual. It would be nice to have an adults only pool without having to book the Havens. But Carnival is known as the fun ship & they delivered on that. The rock n roll show was good, comedians just okay.

Port Reviews

Curacao

Walked around on our own. Very safe port lots of shopping & dining available

La Romana (Casa de Campo)

Ok port to do any good beaches required an hour drive. We just shopped at the port which is fine. But this was our 4th time here

Grand Turk

4th time here. Love the beach so you don’t have to have an excursion but beach becomes packed especially if another cruise ship, ports same time. Even jimmy buffets pool area gets full with no where to sit
