To see the lights and to stay at the Igloo Hotel. However, everything was wonderful and we even said it would not matter if we did not see the lights because we were having such a good time. The inclusions of wine at lunch and dinner, free wifi, free laundry facilities, included excursions, and included specialty dining experiences are all a plus so that the cruisers are not "nickel-and-dimed" to death as is common on some mainstream cruise lines!

Our first cruise on Viking Ocean and the Viking Star and it was great. A beautiful ship and the staff was excellent. BRINSLEY as cruise director did a great job and was very organized. The guest lecturers were very good and We enjoyed the fact that if we missed the real time lecture, we could view it later in our room. All the public areas were beautifully decorated and cozy. The spa was a wonderful place to spend the day when we were at sea.

We met so many wonderful people, all of whom seemed as happy as we were to be on the Viking Star.

Cabin Review

Excellent. Could have used a few more storage drawers but overall it was great.
