Royal Caribbean's business policies have ruined this ship. The crew works hard, but you can't fix things from the back seat.

It became obvious two days into an eleven-day cruise that there would be less to do more. Stateroom attendants must take care of more rooms. This means the room cannot be deep cleaned regularly unless there is an "accident" or event that would require it. Closets, drawers, and under the bed were thick with layers of dust. There is a supervisor that tours and offers comments, but no assistance.

The same thing applied to the Main Dining Room (MDR) and Windjammer. Fewer staff, lower quality foods and so many repeat items that it felt like Groundhog Day. This business decision drives repeat cruisers (like us) to the other restaurants onboard for a change and an increase in the level of service. We have been loyal cruises for almost 20 years and have been on Serenade before - the change in the past five years is noticeable. So much so that I will be considering a different cruise line.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

The cabin is the same size as all the others in the class. It has a larger oddly shaped balcony that is shady most of the time. The view is slightly obstructed but offered good views of the ports.
