Last summer July 2019 I went with my family on cruise to the Caraïben and the Bahamas. Main reason we went with MSC is the itinerary because they provided a 2week back to back cruise which covered most of the Caraïben and the Bahamas. As European we thought there is no sense to fly so far for a one week cruise and see only a small part of the area. Most American cruise liners consider the Caribbean as a one week booze cruise for there American guests with strong focus on fun and games and the itinerary seems for them to be less important. Also the ships used for these Caraïben booze cruises tend to be older and less sophisticated. MSC as a European brand makes big effort to compete with there American competition on there own market so they have sent one of there biggest and newest ships to the Caraïben namely the MSC Seaside. The ship is specially designed to sail in sun loaded location. There are massive open desks all around the ship for all fresco dining and wining. There are three massive swimming pools with real depth, a spectacular state of the art water park for kids as well as fun slides for young and old which I really enjoyed. The interior of the ship feels very European modern chique which I also loved. The shows were nice but I must confirm that NCL beats them on this department. The food was very good and we had a standerd booze package that includes good quality wines and plenty of good spirits. The general price quality experience was really good.

Cabin Review

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

The cabin was of good size with a good shower and excellent big bed. As we were in an Area balcony we had a massive size balcony with two sun loungers, two chairs and a table.
