Sail Date: Feb 2020

Sailed on Britannia 1st Feb around the Caribbean on our third P&O cruise second time on Britannia, and apart from the usual sun bed hogging had a great time on board ship. Why people feel they need to reserve sun beds on both sides of the ship at 9 in the morning is beyond me. PO must do more about this as this was the worst we seen. Embarkation was easy straight off the plane on to awaiting coaches and to the port. Entertainment was average both good and bad, but food was better than our last cruise. We dined in the Limelight one night where we saw Shaun Williams, which was excellent. Did not dine in Sindhu or epicurean as we had done so previously on other cruises. We also eat in Horizon buffet which is a lot better then some. Could always find a seat even when busy. We also made good use of the food to go fridge ideal when you have just come back from an excursion.

Things started to go wrong on the last day. We found our Tui flight home was delayed due to tech fault, after we returned on ship mid day. We were then told we would be staying on board an extra night. We had no access to WiFi as our account was cancelled but access to phone calls. This made if difficult to contact home cancel overnight hotel, and contact dog kennels as was late even U.K. time. All we were offered was a £7.50 drink voucher, but we had problems purchasing additional drinks and snacks as officially we were off the ship.

We had in all 3 flight cancellations, poor confusing communication while on board, taken off ship to be accommodated in substandard dirty hotel with little or no information and updates poor WiFi which again made it difficult to rearrange airport pickup P&O also said we could have one 3 min overseas call but this was refused by the hotel. This made the end of our holiday very stressful
