Luz and Joey, both from Philippines, were a joke. The morning tv show was them acting like small children. Couldn’t understand them. Since Luz was on the mic so often and then every night after the shows, most Americans complained to each other about her horrible accent. More than 1/2 passengers were European and Asian. Don’t know how they could understand. Did not enjoy the bands who were very loud (also mostly from Philippines). Sitting in the Orchid restaurant, could barely carry on a dinner conversation.
The guest entertainers disappointed us.
The Gem singers and dancers were very entertaining, but since this was 21 night cruise, they only performed once a week. The acrobatic Husband and Wife duo’s performance was very good. Did not enjoy the hypnosis guy Dale K. The Irish performer Harry O was mediocre. The male singers “These Guys” first show was great. The second A Capella show by them was less than stellar. The juggler tried to be a comedian but failed.
Cabin had lots of storage places with 3 drawers on each side of the room.
Unfortunately, there was not enough space to comfortably get to queen bed. Worst aspect was the TV. Screen size. Could not read the text from the bed.
The shuttle was very time consuming. We wanted to get off the ship and rent a car to visit the Reagan Presidential Library and then continue on to the Nixon Presidential Library. But once on the ship, I was informed that leaving the ship was not possible.
New shopping center and a Walmart store within walking distance.
Good shopping and very walkable town.
Many cruisers went over to the Iowa Battleship.
