This has been our 10th Celebrity cruise. I would still recommend Celebrity, and we have two more cruises already planned with Celebrity, but overall this cruise did not come out as the best one we've had. Still good, but not great! This is with regards to the cruise it'self, not the destination.

Our room was concierge class on the 10th floor. The room itself and our attendant were as expected. But the staff are so busy, they don't have time for little things to make the cruise more personal. There are no longer those towel animals the room attendants used to make. They just don't have time. Celebrity no longer provides concierge guests with canvas shoulder bags. Now it's just a cheap shopping bag with "CELEBRITY" printed on it as free advertising for them. Room television has gotten cheaper too.

Meals in the main dining room were just OK. On a 14-night cruise only three times did I comment to the manager that we had a good meal. The waiters were much less attentive; not noticing little (but important) things like we had no butter, or people didn't like their meal. On past cruises, if a passenger pushed back form a full plate of food, the waiter would instantly be there to ask what was wrong and offer another meal. This was obviously missing as a number of times several people at our table pushed they're food away without eating it. No one on a cruise wants to be the bad-guy and start being a table critic against the waiters. It's not the passengers job.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

We've had this cabin type for all our cruises, and it was as expected. But the ship is showing it's age, especially on the balcony.
