The cruise was chosen by a friend because of the destinations and the price. I had never been to Cabo San Lucas nor Escenado but picking the right cruise line and the right cabin mate is essential. We had an oceanview cabin (1137) which was just enough room for the both of us. Made' our cabinet stewart took excellent care of us and ensured that every need was met, whether it was additional towels or simply opening the door when we both had our arms full. The Miracle is an older ship but it was ok. The decor was the most outdated to me but the crew made up for it. The Lido deck was small and a little off centered compared to the other carnival ships that I've been on like the Fantasy, Inspiration, Sensation, Glory, ect. Alex in the Bacchus (restaurant) was very attentive and ensured after a small hiccup the first night that the other 5 nights were wonderful. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The Entertainment was so so, I've seen better on the other ships. Burgers on the lido deck were awful so I stuck to the deli and the restaurant. The burgers seemed to have been made earlier that day and just left on a warmer. If possible get on one of the ships with Guy'S Burgers, no won't be disappointed. Cabo San Lucas was really nice with beautiful beaches. Our first day we did the Top 10 Best of Cabo which was our 2nd choice since Explore Cabo: Sightseeing, Tacos, Tequila, & Shopping tour was full. For $60 it was acceptable but there wasn't a lot of time to walk around and shop it you wanted to get something to eat. Since we were there for 2 days we decided to do the tour day 1 @ 10am. On day 2 we decided to walk around downtown on our own where we explored the shops at the dock and inside the city with a couple of hours at the beach which was about a 30 minute walk from the cruise dock. Day 3 was at Ensenada which was ok but the vendors at La Bufadora Adventure where exhausting. You couldn't turn around without having 3 or 4 people coming at you at the same time to buy something. I had to pretend to have a hearing problem just to make it down the street which made that whole experience my least like of the whole cruise. Needless to say we didn't even get to see the blow hole "blow". Tide didn't get high enough. The 2 days at sea were okay but again my cabin mate and I got a long splendidly so it was nice. The gym on the Miracle was one of the better ones I had ever experienced on any of the carnival ships but it could have had more room to move around. The staff at the Guest Service desk were amazing. Would I go again, for the right price, absolutely.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

The oceanview cabin was just the right size for my friend and I. We had just enough room to move around, but this made add to the fact that we are both consider of each others space. The beds were soft but pillows big and bulky which wasn't good for my neck. I should have asked for a softer pillow but I'm just now thinking of that. Our room was clean and welcoming upon initial entrance and kept clean during our entire cruise. The bathroom had an order that was annoying but we didn't say in there long enough for it to be a problem. Should have brought my renuzit.
