We decided on this cruise because of the great price offered by NCL. We had a mid ship balcony and took advantage of the 4 perk deal. I will review the items and places we visited and if not mentioned it's due to the fact we just didn't use that facility.

Getting the ship was a breeze. We paid $100 for the VIP check in. What a great decision on that. We arrived at the ship around 1130 and security took about 5 minutes. We went up the elevator and there were probably 200 folks in line for check in. The VIP line had NOBODY. We were checked in and headed to the boat in less than 5 minutes. Walked onto the Sun by 1150. We purchased our water for th We trip and it was delivered to the room later in the day. We went to the MDR for lunch and to just settle down a little after a lot of walking and standing. A++++ for getting onboard.

We ate in the MDR several times during the cruise. We had three breakfasts, three dinners, and one lunch in the MDR. The one consistent factor for every meal was slow service. Several meals took over an hour and it wasn't busy at all. Drinks were fine, coffee was delivered fast, but the main course just seemed to take forever. The food was good, not great, the servers were very friendly and seemed to apologize a lot for the slow service.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

We were very happy with our cabin choice. Felt like we had lots of room to move around and plenty of space for clothes and storage. Room steward was very good and room was always cleaned well.
