We have been on Viking River Cruises and wanted to try an ocean one. We have done 2 Oceania Cruises before, which we loved. VIKING was as good and better in many ways. The ship is new and well designed to meet every need. We loved the fact that the cruise did not $100 you to death. Food, wine, WiFi, launderette, and Spa were included in the standard price , as well as one included excursion every day. There were 2 reservation only restaurants on the ship. A meal in each came with our cabin. You could dine again in either if there was space - at no additional charge. But The Restaurant, the main dining room was excellent. There were 2 of us traveling. We asked to be seated at a table of 6 with others and made new acquaintances who we saw throughout the cruise. The entertainment was exceptional; far better than expected!
