I know the Explorer is going in for dry dock, and some areas really need it. This did not affect out cruises. EXCEPT for the elevator situation. 4 out of the 6 forward elevators were out of service.

Having a forward cabin and a mobility scooter this caused us major difficulties. Especially when trying to get to the conference center. People were getting on whether they were going up or down, just to get on.

Walking to the central elevators were a long haul, particularly with small children, when you had to walk back forward after reaching your floor. To me this was unacceptable. Guest services could not or would not give us any information. This made Disembarkation a major nightmare. They needed traffic control and shut down the elevators completely because of crowds

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Large patches of rust on balcony. Closet doors broken. No coffee table. Cooler doesn't cool. Needed ice for my medications. Remote control for TV was flaky. Room very clean and main bed was very comfortable. Lots of storage places. Never received our robes. Extra blanket not delivered. Called Stateroom attendant twice and never received an answer or voice mail
