We enjoyed this ship very much with little cons. We have sailed this one twice. The first time we went to embark it was hectic no one was directing anyone in the port of Miami the second time was great out of Louisiana. We have left out of both ports before and had the opposites the time before so guess depends on what team is working. All rooms are ready by 2pm so bring your carry on bag for the afternoon. The rooms are standard size, the closet is next to the bed which can be difficult however in the bathroom there is a shower door vs a curtain. We have had a extended balcony and a regular. We loved the extended balcony but on both cruises we have issues we one on the extended balcony someone dumping there ashes on our balcony and once a lit cigarette and the second both rooms to the right smoking on the balconies and it would travel down to us. We were on floor away from the smoking area. I have nothing against smokers just think of others. As for the restaurants we actually never did the MDR because of how long the process would be. We did do the specialty restaurants I would recommend Cagney’s, Japanese steak house and the noodle bar if you can get in. On sea days you can eat at ocean blu’s outside window on the waterfront. The have a lobster roll, crab toast and calamari etc. for a extra fee of course. At margaritaville you can pay $14.95 get a appetizer, main plate and a dessert it was good but it took a while. The buffet we always found something to eat. Remember it’s a buffet. There is always something different every night in a theme and there is always the same stuff in certain areas as well. They always have the normal pizza, burgers and hotdogs etc. we found seating in the back of the ship with no problems. Just walk the whole buffet. Also margaritaville does serve breakfast also but we didn’t try it. O’sheenan’s we are there a lot. It’s normal bar style food. Free so you can’t complain. The restaurant side does have a different menu than the sports bar side. We had the UBP we felt that it was worth it. We personally loved the mojito bar. We would take walks on the water front there is outside bars on both sides which is nice if you want a drink while taking a walk. The main pool is next to the kiddie pool for those who do not care for kids. The pool is always packed which is to be expected. The kiddie area is great only downside is the smokers hut is next to it and it comes down to the kids water park. We never had to wait long for the water slides, trampoline or rock climbing wall either trip only the ropes course we did. We brought our trusty plastic cups along to fill up with water at the buffet. The atrium always had something going on we were always watching shows there. The circue show is a dinner and show are a extra fee it was neat but not worth the money. I recommend million dollar quartet. You have to leave your key in the light slot to keep everything on so recommend bringing a store card to keep in there. When we went to debark we had no issues the normal cattle bearding line out the door. First cruise had a fire in the laundry room on Halloween but they kept us informed the whole time as for this past time..... we were so close to Jamaica’s port and they made the announcement at the last minute it was to dangerous to dock with the high winds. We were disappointed we got back our port fees. Overall we enjoyed the getaway and would sail it again after doing a few other ships.
