My cruise was a surprise arranged by my friend. I was amazed. Arriving we were greeted by friendly porters and our suitcases were taken to our booked cabins. We then waited some time in five rows filling out paperwork before being served at a counter, then given further documents for customs. Staff were continually on hand to manage the rows.

Once through Customs we walked towards the gangplank stopped to have our photo taken, then into the entrance area. We were greeted by friendly officers and staff and given directions to our cabin.

During the seven days the cabin crew were efficient cleaning our cabin daily, replacing linen and tidying the cabin. The phone marking for enquiries was clear. We had a television and during the emergency gatherings we were told channel 41 contained a viewing of the ship.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside

It was comfortable but we did not realize we could not tell what time it was with no window or balcony. We used a wake up call alarm.

Staff were excellent as we had a plumbing problem and a plumbers immediately came to solve the problem. Laundry service was standard and arrived promptly two days later.

We learned a balcony cabin was a better choice in
