This was our first cruise, January 2020. We selected this cruise because it was short (5 days) and we could drive to the port (Mobile). Overall, the cruise was very enjoyable. The Fantasy ship is about 30 years old but is in very good shape and is very clean. We didn't encounter any problems with the ship or our room. Our favorite on ship event was the "Astro Nautical" band in the Cat's Lounge. These are 5 outstanding musicians with an excellent lead vocalist. We also enjoyed the comedy show with Sean Kent. (I still don't know what the lady from Mississippi was saying). We had excellent burgers from Guy Fieri's burger joint.
The ship's crew were excellent in all encounters. They always greet you in the halls.
We purchased "Faster to the Fun" program ($70) which is basically an upgrade to the VIP status allowing priority boarding and debarkation as well as some other perks. This was well worth the money. We walked past hundreds of people in line to board the boat without waiting behind a single person. Same thing when we left the ship.
The cabin was excellent except that it was too cold. We do not like highly air conditioned rooms. We kept the vent closed all the time.
