just returned after a 2 week in the caribbean, was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews but never experienced any of negative comments i read in them. the ship is old and did vibrate a little which rocked you to sleep.we were on deck 4 the cabin was nice with a small bathroom, the cabin steward Baban kept it spotless and clean both in the morning and evening leaving a towel made up into an animal from time to time.we only used the lido restaurant for meals which were ok though at times not as hot as you hoped and a bit repetitive .the entertainment we saw was good .horizons bar was really good the staff there went that extra mile. the only time we had a problem we reported it at reception and it was sorted very quickly. most of the islands we just got a taxi outside the port cheaper than onboard trips.captain Alex was fantastic with his comments when leaving each port, he was very approachable and took time to chat with passengers. the rest of the staff were very friendly smiling.and did chat when not busy. we had some days with a mix of sunshine and rain with only 1 day a total washout but you can't control the weather.

Cabin Review

the cabin was ok plenty of hanging space with 2 wardrobes and 2 chests of drawers with a safe which was free.there was a kettle with a selection of tea and coffee as well as a mini bar which you had to pay for if you drank from it. the bathroom was small and the shower curtain didn't keep all the water in the shower cubical all the time.

Port Reviews

Tortola

took 1 of the taxis outside the port for $25 each should have been for 2hrs but it lasted 3hrs. the driver was very informative with plently of stopping point to take pictures.

Antigua

we again took a taxi tour this time it cost $20 each and an extra $8 each for nelson dockyard which also covered the admission to shirleys heights. best trip we did the taxi driver was very informative and it was nearly 5hrs long.
