Alaska still holds, for travellers, the experience of the Great Outdoors of wild forests, mountain sky lines, fast and slow flowing water ways. Wild life abounds in their natural habitat that will hold you in that moment. Spend your leisure time in local restaurants and saloons passing the time with the local people. Sunrise and Sunsets make many photo opportunities.

We took the before and after extensions. This gave us "Alaskan Wilderness Express" rail journey to the Denali National Park. Then on by coach over land with well appointed Hotel accommodation to Seward. Our extended stay in Vancouver which allowed to us unwind before the flight home.

Viking Orion we found to be such a relaxing ship to cruise on. The service by all the staff and crew was absolutely outstanding. The entertainment felt soft and intimate around the bars. Talented show artists gave excellent performances across all styles of entertainment.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was more than just a box for the night.

The relaxing decor with such comfortable bed and furniture and balcony made the cabin a welcoming homely living room.

The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The glass framed shower was excellent.

The Cabin Stewards gave excellent service at all times.
