What a relaxing, wonderful way to see the countries of Eastern Europe. Every detail was attended to. The staff were exceptional, the voyage smoothe and scenic, the food excellent and the pace perfect. It was our first river cruise and we will be back! We especially loved the pre-arraigned shore excursions. The busses were very comfortable and the tour guides very friendly and knowledgeable. We never felt the slightest motion during the cruise, you had to look out the window to confirm we were moving. And we absolutely loved the fellow passengers we met onboard...kind, friendly, educated and interesting. We were a little unsure of how things would go (as we were visiting former communist countries), but quickly realized we had nothing to worry about. We also saw some on our boat who had physical challenges, but the staff were very attentive to their needs. Viking does a GREAT job!
