Sail Date: Dec 2019
Cabin: Large Ocean-View Stateroom

This cruise was selected based on the interesting Panama Canal itinerary, the holiday sailing dates and the exceptional price offered. While the entertainment was weak and very limited the food selection and quality helped offset this weakness. It is a fairly small ship and generally quiet and not crowded, which we liked. Well maintained other than excessively dirty windows on all decks that made viewing difficult. Cabins were clean and service above average. Crew members generally very happy and, unlike the Costa Luminosa which we also just took, seemed to actually care about being of service. Like many ships, there was a constant effort made to sell products and services which after 17 days became extremely irritating. Shore excursions were over priced and typically involved large bus transportation. Plan your own excursions with private guides for a better experience. Holland America does a nice job for the price but the average age is higher than many ships. Bring good books!

Corinto

Highly recommend booking a private tour with Reynaldo Romero (WhatsApp 505-8831-9463, corintotour@outlook.com) Small group experience catered to your interests with a great English speaking guide. He is the best. He took us to his home, introduced us to his family, located locally grown coffee and coffee in a market for us, showed us volcanoes, historic sites, etc. it was a million dollar day for less than the ship options!!
