We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Carnival Panorama. The food was delicious, entertainment was very good (stage productions/comedians) and service throughout the ship was wonderful. We had a mid-ship balcony on deck 7 which was a perfect location for us since everything was easily accessible. We did independent excursions in each of the three ports: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta which worked out great. It was a treat for us not to have to fly to board a ship since we live in the greater Los Angeles area and parking/boarding were very easy as well. We attended the cruise critic meet and mingle which was very informal and friendly - no invitations were sent to cabins, but it was easy to find the date/time of the meeting in the "Fun Times." Special mentions for excellent service: Cabin attendant/steward Efren, guest services representative Lufano, and Doris in the Atrium Bar. A Great Week!
Great location for a balcony cabin - very central to everything onboard. Cabin itself was very clean, quiet, and had lots of storage. Efren was an excellent cabin steward! We had three people in the cabin, so the sofa was used as the 3rd bed and still gave us room to walk around. I would definitely choose this cabin again.
It was a Stone Island beach/lunch/boat ride combo through Mazatlan Tours and I would recommend it.
I would highly recommend this cruise, especially to those living in Southern California due to the ease of driving to Long Beach and boarding the ship a few yards away from the parking structure! Great food, service, entertainment, and ports!
