I have cruised with Norwegian 8 or 9 times and really used to enjoy Freestyle cruising, but this cruise was simply a disaster from start to finish. I cruised on the Getaway when it first came out and it was a great ship, but whatever they have done to it during the remodeling has made it impossible to enjoy yourself. This ship is MOBBED with people at ever step, there is no way to get a seat an any of the basic activities because they force everyone into this tiny Atrium space of a majority of the cruise and with 4000......yes 4000 passengers on board how can you have activities in an area that seats maybe 200 max. Very little is in the theatre except the shows so its just dumbfounding how poor the planning is. Everything is constantly crowded and you cannot get around at all thru the maize of people. Who wants a vacation like this with stressful lines at every restaurant and buffet onboard.

Now we will move onto the service of the staff.....Below average at best. Waiters and bartenders with no personality at all if you can even ever find one, once again you have to get your own drinks at the bars in line and wait wait wait. If you like waiting in line or shopping on black Friday this is the ship for you. Constantly waiting for mediocre service and poorly made cocktails

Food was average cruise ship quality, I don't have any complaints about that. Room was very nice and steward did a great job keeping it clean. Had a nice mini suite on 11 and the room was great. Read more
