Sail Date: Feb 2019

We have always had Australia and New Zealand on our wish list but the large cruise ships kept us away. We saw the size of the Viking ocean liners and it fit us to a t. Embarkation and debarkation was a breeze.

We also liked the "No Kids", No Casinos", and" no umbrella drinks" policy.

We are loyal Viking river boat travelers and the Viking spirit is on the ocean liners as well.

Cabin Review

Very well designed cabin with a spacious bathroom. The closet was large enough for the two of us and there was a dresser with drawers for us also. It was very quiet and private and the veranda was an excellent place to relax while under way.

Port Reviews

Christchurch

It was amazing to see the damage of the earthquakes and the rebuilding efforts.

Wellington

Very informative and learned alot about windy Wellipngton

Napier

Great examples of art deco and even found a wonderful ice cream shop to enjoy while people watching.

Tauranga

We learned so much about the Maori people and their striving to retain their culture and language.

Auckland

What a lively city with so many boats filling their harbor. Great fish and chips!
