We wanted to see Normandy, the D-Day Memorial and visit Paris again. We did not stay in Paris before the cruise, as we have been to Paris three times. Our Embarkation and Disembarkations went very well. We had no delays or problems.

The ship was as we expected, as this was our third cruise with Viking. We like Viking because the crew is very helpful, the cabins are clean and the food is excellent.

The dining was excellent. We knew what was being served. Viking always posts the menu outside the dining room everyday. We were on Emerald Waterways and they did not post the menus. The food was hot, appetizing and they have many choices. The head chef came out every evening and told us what his specialty was for that night and the wait staff were courteous and friendly.
