Sail Date: Apr 2019

We are interested in learning more about Scandinavian countries and St. Petersburg, Russia. Russia and the Baltic looked like the best fit for us.

We enjoyed Copenhagen, Stockholm, Talinn, Gotland, and in particular, St. Petersburg.

We also wanted to visit Moscow however given our middle day in St. Petersburg was a Thursday we were not able to visit Moscow given the Kremlin is closed on Thursdays and the tour operators do not schedule Moscow trips on that day. Therefore, if you want to visit Moscow check on availability before you book.

Cabin Review

Great cabin:

Plenty of room

Storage Space and Closet space were more than adequate

Everything worked

Excellent location on the ship. We had the same room on the Viking Orion when we enjoyed the Mediterranean Odyssey Cruise in 2018.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Great walking tour of Copenhagen. Excellent local guide. We covered a lot of ground in the half day tour.

Copenhagen

Gave us a great sense of Copenhagen and its people.

Tallinn

This tour was brief and was part of a combination tour. Excellent local guide. Enjoyed the parts of the old town that were part of the excursion.

Stockholm

You really can't get a real sense of Stockholm from the street level. The City Tour can only give you a glimpse.
