Sail Date: Jan 2020
Cabin: Outside Premium

First of all, the cruise was cheap. 8 nights in outside premium with 250 MB internet and drink package including both wine, beer, cocktails and special coffee and included gratitude (service) for 700 $ per person.

So expectations of course needs to be in relation to what paid.

First the positive:

Cabin Review

Outside Premium

Cabin was as expected. Size is enough. Had to have max heat in the shower

Port Reviews

Kelang (Kuala Lumpur)

Took own taxi to Kuala Lumpur. Fixed rates, but a bit chaotic to get a taxi. It is however a bit too far into the city to make it worth

Langkawi

Had pre-booked the cable car with priority. Just took a taxi there (fixed rate) and enjoyed. After that went to a beach on the north coast. Beautiful

Phuket

Patong beach was not my thing. But enjoyed some other beaches further south. Used Grab taxi app. Better than local TukTuks with payment by card and a fair price presented in the app (like Uber)

Penang

Walked into city center of Georgtown. Quite nice. Check out the street art.

Went to a beach as well. Not so nice. Skip beach in this stop!

Malacca

Beautiful city center with lots of accessible history and culture.
