Sail Date: May 2019

One of three Viking cruises we did in 2019, and was most memorable for nature! The ship was five star comfort, crew and meals Michelin, and excursions fantastic. We strongly recommend Denali Post excursion. Our guide Alexandra was like a doting Mom, always making sure we enjoyed ourselves and became immersed in the places we visited. By all means treat yourself to all the wildlife in Alaska, I was charged by a moose!, and come to Northern Heaven.

We tried the Restaurant, but it was not as much fun as the World Cafe. Each day the menu changes making choices always different.

Orion has a planetarium on board, and we loved the programs put on by the resident astronomer.

Cabin Review

Larger than a river cruise and a Veranda we used early in the cruise and for taking Northern Light photographs. Maintained to perfection by our cabin attendant. Hidden secret is Mamsen waffles for breakfast.
