Friends invited us to join them on Inside Passage. We were reluctant since we had never been on a cruise. The trip surpassed all expectations.

After spending four days in Vancouver, the departure city, we stepped aboard the Viking Orion for our first ever cruise and were greeted with a glass of champagne! A great way to start our experience. We met our friends for cocktails and dinner as our ship left shore for Alaska.

The next day we spent discovering what was on the ship. The spot that became our afternoon favorite was the hidden coffee and pastry bar. Delightful after a day of shore exploring.

Cabin Review

Cozy. Our veranda view was something to look forward to every morning.

Port Reviews

Juneau

Rented a car for the day. Drove to the glacier and hiked then drove into the mountains.

Icy Strait

Hiked into the wilderness in search of bears. None found that day but saw evidence of their existence.
