Grand Princess is 21 years old and still in good shape with many attractive public rooms.

The multinational crew is well trained and friendly, the food and dining room service is fine, the entertainment is varied and well presented. There are many sea days on this itinerary and lots of activities to fill your days. The Hawaiian Cultural team was excellent with talks, music, dance, arts and crafts, ukulele and hula lessons . The ports were easy to access on your own, tho we did do a whale watching tour in Maui that was excellent, a ship’s tour that was good value. Weather was mostly good, a little windy and rocky a few days, but not bad.

We did this itinerary once before from Seattle, this cruise was very convenient since we live near SF. Embarking and disembarking was fast, easy and efficient.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Big enough, very comfortable bed., good lighting, small balcony, small bathroom, but adequate.

Port Reviews

Ensenada

We arrived late, after dark, took shuttle us into town, had a drink, took a walk, returned to the ship. OK, but would have been better in the afternoon as scheduled.
